Leaving us a gift in your will is one of the biggest things you can do to make a difference to the lives of women and children affected by domestic abuse and or sexual violence.
Gifts in wills are special gifts, entrusted to us by those who share our values and our vision for the future.
No matter the size, your gift will be used to support women and children. Your gift could help those in our refuge or those who have experienced abuse who we are helping to rebuild their lives and once again take part in our community.
Often domestic abuse and/or sexual violence means women must leave the towns and villages where they’ve spent a large part of their lives and start all over again in a strange part of the country or a new town. This can be hard, and we try to ease this process. Women who have suffered childhood abuse may need longer term and varied support to recover from the trauma. At West Cornwall Women’s Aid, we provide this specialist care and support. Children who have lived in an abusive household can blame themselves and may struggle to thrive, the dedicated work we do with children helps them to recover and start to enjoy life. Your donation can go towards such projects.
