People often contact us asking how they can donate to West Cornwall Women’s Aid and we want to make this as easy as possible. We are a small local charity, and we will use every penny which is donated to help us support women and children who have experienced domestic abuse and or sexual violence.
Our funding comes from a range of sources from the Lottery to Cornwall Council, to businesses such as Lloyds Bank who generously donate to our cause.
Our funding is usually short term and insecure so we are always looking for ways to attract funding so we can continue our work. We are grateful for any amount we receive, no matter how small. It all adds up and helps us make a difference to the lives of women and children.
Your donation means we can support women and children to be safer and happier, to live lives free from fear. Your donations may go towards funding our well-being programme which helps women and their children to start to enjoy life after abuse, to have fun and make happier memories.
