Here at West Cornwall Women’s Aid we know just how difficult it can be to pick up the phone and make that first call to us. It may well be the first time you’ve spoken to anyone about your situation and we do not underestimate the courage it takes to make the call.
Our trained and qualified staff understand this and we are able to offer a range of confidential, specialist services designed specifically to support women who have experienced domestic abuse and or sexual violence.
If for any reason you call and we are unable to answer straight away, leave us a message and let us know whether it is safe to ring you back. Once you get through to a member of our team, we will work with you to find the support that best suits your needs and will help you in any way that we can.
We keep a record of all support calls on our secure database. It is up to you to decide what information you give us, but the more you feel you can tell us the easier it will be for us to support you. Everything you tell us is confidential. The exception to this is if you tell us that you, or someone, else is at risk of serious harm or a child is at risk.
