Bearing Witness is a community exhibition project that invites local women to share their experiences of male-perpetrated violence through creative expression.
We are seeking contributions in a range of formats, including:
Selected contributions will form part of a public exhibition during 16 Days of Activism 2026, creating a powerful space to acknowledge experiences, amplify women's voices, and challenge violence against women and girls.
Contributors can choose to be named or remain anonymous, and we will work with participants to ensure they feel safe and comfortable sharing their work.
We recognise that reflecting on and expressing experiences of violence can be difficult and potentially triggering. Support is available through our services, and we can also signpost contributors to additional sources of support where needed.
